Things you use regularly often have features you do not know about. It is exactly these gadgets that make your everyday life more relaxed. Once you’ve discovered the following eleven features, you’ll never want to miss them:
1) Tic-Tac box
Are you always tipping the Tic Tacs in your hand and are you busy with fiddling the overpumped specimens back into the packaging? Then here is the solution: In the hinged lid is at the top namely a small edge into which fits exactly a Tic Tac. Next time, just make sure you open the package as shown in the following picture, so dosing is much easier.
2) Cutter knife
If your craft knife does not cut reliably, you’ll have to cut it. But instead of doing it with your bare hands and risking an injury, you should use the inconspicuous gadget that is located at the end of the handle: A small button can be used to pull off a half-round cap from the craft knife.
These can then put on the front of the knife and break off a piece of it – awesome, right?
3) Needle and yarn
Keeping needles is a tricky business. Most people simply push the pointed yarn guides into the yarn without paying any attention to the risk of a painful pikser getting out. However, you can avoid this by simply pulling the lower part out of the thread spool.
So you can simply put the needles in the “foot” and push the thread reel on it again – so you not only avoid unnecessary injuries, but also can stow your yarn much easier.
4) Notch at the bottom edge of the cup
Numerous cups are provided at the bottom with a roughly 0.5 centimeter wide notch. But what is the recess intended for? Quite simply: If you place your cup slightly obliquely in the dishwasher, the water drains easily from the bottom of the cup. So the cup is already dry when you get it out of the dishwasher, and you’ll save yourself the annoying drying of the lower trough – well, if that’s not practical!
5) food in the box
Anyone who loves Asian food knows the typical boxes in which noodles, rice & Co. are transported home. For convenience, the food is then often plastered directly from the packaging, while you can easily make a plate out of the box: first remove the handle from the packaging …
… and the box is easy to unfold into a plate.
6) Tacker trick
Pretty much everyone has ever “jumped” and is almost desperate to release the clip, because their ends are so close together that the bending is a ordeal.
In the Tacker itself, however, there is the solution to this annoying problem: namely, the round metal clip placement with the recesses can be easily turned.
If you turn this plaque 180 degrees, the staple ends do not point inwards after tacking, but outwards. So the clip holds just as well, but can be much easier to solve. Try it!
7 ) Tobler one
Who does not know Toblerone? The cult chocolate is mainly known for its triangular shape.
The breaking off of one of the delicious chocolate top ends, however, for many sweet toothed with dirty hands. The reason: They try to break up the pieces with all their might.
The chocolate is much easier to solve with the opposite movement. Only the peaks need to be compressed; This is fast and prevents largely melted chocolate on the fingers.
8) Hole in the pen
Have you always wondered why there is a hole in some pens? Well, the answer is simple: it’s a ventilation system that lets the ink run to the top.
9 ) Hole in the tape measure
Even a conventional tape measure raises questions, because what is the small hole thought at the beginning?
Well, you can simply attach the measuring tape to a screw that has not been completely screwed into the ground, for example, and make measurements easily without outside help.
10 ) Tab on the shoulder
A handbag handle constantly sliding from the shoulder is an annoying annoyance that every woman knows.
However, some jackets have a tab on the shoulder that can be opened and closed with a button – perfect for securing the bag.
11 ) Additional hole in the shoe
Sneakers are usually equipped with an extra hole, which seems unnecessary at first glance.
However, if you thread the laces through, the shoe can be tighter. This not only gives more grip but also prevents painful blistering.
It’s amazing what super-handy features are overlooked, even though they’re obvious. In doing so, they solve the most annoying everyday problems almost in the air.
