A police officer stopped a man for speeding.
As the officer approached the car, he noticed that the man’s wife was frantically trying to finish her makeup.
Officer: “Sir, do you know how fast he was going?”
Man: “Officer, I have a good excuse. “My wife’s makeup was about to slide off her face!”
Wife (indignant): “Come on! “You were driving like a maniac!”
Man: “See, officer, I was just trying to maintain marital harmony.”
The officer couldn’t help but laugh and let them go with a warning, reminding them to drive safely and maintain makeup priorities.
