A little Christmas poem

A little Christmas poem When the snow falls wonderfully and the children are happy.

When there is black ice on the street and we all need mulled wine. Then you know, the time has come. it is here, the Christmas season.

Every parking garage is occupied because people are driving now.

Everyone at Kaufhof and Mediamarkt is nearly having a heart attack.

Shopping for crazy things is crazy, and the Christmas bell rings.

Mother in the kitchen is baking chocolate, nut and almond biscuits.

Daddy in the next room is decorating a giant Christmas tree. He is hanging off the balls, then he falls from the ladder.

Finally the children come into the room. And the family sings loudly: “

Oh, Christmas tree!” And then everyone in the house is unpacking the presents. Mum finds a brand new Teflon frying pan under the tree.

Dad gets a tie and socks, everyone rejoices. The President speaks on TV, everyone is in harmony.

Until mother runs into the kitchen, the Christmas goose is burning in the oven. And then the fire brigade comes, sirens blaring.

And they bring a long, long hose and a long, long ladder. And they shout: “Let the water flow!”, Christmas is now in the bucket.

Merry Christmas, merry Christmas, Hear the music, see the lights, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas everyone!
